Usual larval stages June to July and August to April

Adult forewing - around 3.5 to 4.5mm. Flies May to June and August

Larval foodplants : The larvae feed In the stems, leaves and flower-heads of clovers (Trifolium spp.) and Common Bird's-foot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus)
