Single-brooded, overwinters as a larva

Recorded size of fully grown larvae - 30 to 35mm

Usual larval stage September to mid-June

Adult forewing - around 20 to 24mm. Flies early July to August

Larval foodplants : Hemp-agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum)
