Single-brooded, overwinters as a larva

Recorded size of fully grown larvae - 13 to 16mm

Usual larval stage August to early June

Adult forewing - around 9 to 11mm. Flies late June to early August

Larval foodplants : Pedunculate Oak (Quercus robar)
