376 Welsh Clearwing (Synanthedon scoliaeformis)
A two-year lifecycle, overwinters as a larva
Recorded size range of fully grown larvae - 27 to 30mm
Usual larval stage August to the second May
Adult forewing - around 12 to 15mm. Flies June to early July
Larval foodplants : Larvae feed inside the base of a trunk or roots of birch (Betula spp.)
